BY-O-COAT RC 600 is a high BET bio-based hydrophilic silica, sustainably synthesized from rice husk, designed as an advanced additive for paints and coatings. With a high surface area (500–700 m²/g) and optimized particle size (3–10 µm), RC 600 offers exceptional thermal insulation, rheology control, and chemical stability. Its porous structure and reflective properties make it highly effective in thermal-barrier coatings, both intumescent and non-intumescent. Resistant to extreme environments (-55°C to 450°C), it prevents deformation and corrosion, extending coating durability and performance.
