Description
BY-O-COAT MM 680 is a bio-based hydrophilic silica, sustainably derived from rice husk and engineered as a high-performance matting additive for paints and coatings. With a high BET surface area (500–700 m²/g) and controlled particle size distribution (4–8 µm), MM 680 ensures uniform matting efficiency and an improved Whiteness Index, allowing partial replacement of Titanium Dioxide (TiO₂). It incorporates easily into formulations, offering good rheology, chemical stability, and thermal insulation properties. Resistant to extreme environments (-55°C to 450°C), MM 680 provides long-lasting durability, excellent chemical resistance, and added value in eco-friendly formulations.
