BY-O-COAT RC 450 is a bio-based hydrophilic silica sustainably synthesized from rice husk, designed as a multifunctional additive for paints and coatings. With a medium BET surface area (350–500 m²/g) and controlled particle size distribution, it provides excellent rheology control, chemical resistance, and durability across a wide range of coating formulations. Its amorphous, micron-sized powder structure allows easy incorporation while enhancing performance through porosity and stability.
