BY-O-COAT RC 300 is a bio-based hydrophilic silica, sustainably synthesized from rice husk, designed as a rheology control additive for paints and coatings. With a low BET surface area (150–350 m²/g) and optimized particle size (4–8 µm), it acts as an anti-settling, anti-sagging, and thickening agent, ensuring smooth and stable formulations. RC 300 enhances pigment stabilization, improves flow and leveling, and reduces cracking in highly filled systems. Non-reactive and highly resistant to extreme environments (-55°C to 450°C), it guarantees long-term chemical resistance and durability, while being eco-friendly and biodegradable.
