BY-O-COAT RC 300A is a bio-based hydrophilic silica, sustainably synthesized from rice husk and designed as a rheology control additive for paints and coatings. With a low BET surface area (150–350 m²/g) and optimized particle size (4–8 µm), RC 300A works effectively as an anti-settling, anti-sagging, and thickening agent, ensuring stable formulations. It improves pigment stabilization, flow, and leveling, while reducing cracking in highly filled systems. Resistant to extreme environments (-55°C to 450°C) and chemicals, RC 300A provides long-lasting durability and shelf stability, supporting sustainable, eco-friendly coating formulations.
